What do I need to complete my kit?

The kits provide all the materials to build 2 Guru Propeller Plane '23 planes for either Middle School Division B or High School Division C. They also include simple step by step instructions with pictures of each step as well as access to video building and testing tutorials.

 

Adhesives are not included due to difficulties with shipping. However these can easily be sourced from local hobby stores or online.

We recommend the following additional supplies to build the kits:

Wax Paper

Tape measure/Ruler

Scale which measures in grams precise to 0.01 grams (example)

Super glue accelerant (Bob Smith "Insta-Set" Preferred)

Super Glue (Bob Smith "Insta-Cure" Medium Preferred)

Exact-o knife

Masking Tape

Black Marker

Safe cutting surface

Newspaper or safe area for spraying

Spray Glue (Super 77 preferred)

Needle nose plyers

Optional- Soldering Iron

What is your shipping policy

We ship using the United State Postal Service. Generally we ship kits via First Class Mail in order to reduce costs. Large order (2 or more kits) ship via USPS Parcel Select.

 

We also offer priority shipping for an additional cost. Priority shipping is shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

 

We are sometimes able to accommodate expedited shipping for products. Contact us at shipping@guruengineeringtech.com to inquire about options.

 

We provide tracking numbers for all shipments.

 

Shipping may be delayed due to postal holidays, weather, or other factors beyond out control.

It is possible we will run into delays from time to time as we await additional supplies to arrive however we will to post those delays to alert you before ordering.

Do you take Purchase Orders?

Yes, purchase orders can be sent via email to orders@guruengineeringtech.com.

Additional information commonly needed for purchase orders (W9, Address, etc.) is available here.

Do you allow returns?

In order to be eligible for a refund, orders must be returned within 30 calendar days of receipt. The order must be un-opened in the same condition that you receive it. After we receive your return, we will process your refund.

The money will be refunded to the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.

If the packaging is opened or you have initiated the return after 30 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund.

 

Unfortunately, we are able refund shipping costs.

Due to the nature of our business as a non-profit, if an event and or tournament is canceled due to extenuating circumstances such as COVID-19 we are unable to issue refunds for kits purchased.
